Today is my first day off since the middle of last week, and I decided to spend it by listening to podcasts and designing my book cover. Which is done. I’ve finished it. It’s when I lose hope and decide not to invest all my energy in a project that I find something really cool pop up on the screen.

- Mairead Allen is an 18-year-old, Culinary Arts student.
She was raised in the Chicago suburbs and now resides in a small town in Wisconsin.
Mairead has been telling stories (and stretching the truth) since before she learned to write. She was homeschooled "all the way through" and is very happy that she was not raised in the public school system.
